Chocolate chip cookies recipe


This is my first food related post and I haven't been planing to write it but I just had to.
Last night my mom and I were so bored and she was like ''we should make chocolate chip cookies,we have all ingredients and it's really easy to make''.
The photo you see is not mine,when my mom made them I totally forgot to take a picture but they look same as they look in this picture.
So today I will write down the recipe that my mom used and trust me,they cookies so delicious and honestly I think we will make them again soon.

Ingredients :

1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter

3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar

3/4 cup sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (You don't have to use it if you don't like vanilla but I really love it)

1 bag of chocolate chips or chunks

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon fine salt

Directions :

Evenly position 2 racks in the middle of the oven and preheat to 375 degrees F.
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper ( you can buy them in any store and it's really cheap )
Put the butter in a microwave safe bowl,cover and microwave on medium power until melted.
Cool slightly and then whisk the sugars,eggs,butter and vanilla in a large bowl until it's smooth.
Whisk the flour,baking soda and salt in another bowl.
Stir the dry ingredients with wooden spoon ; just be careful not to over mix.
Now add the chocolate chips or chunks.
Scoop heaping tablespoons of the dough onto the prepared pans.Roll the dough into the small balls.
Cookies should be maybe 2 inches apart on the pans.
Bake until they look gold but still soft in the center (12 - 16 minutes ) but it depends how chewy or crunchy you like your cookies.
After they are done transfer them onto the plate but be careful they are going to be really hot.
Just wait for them to cool and enjoy.
You just HAVE to eat them with milk,because honestly to me they taste better haha :)
