Feeling sad ? This will cheer you up

January was always sad month for me because weather is always terrible,it was really snowy, cloudy,I hated it.
I can't believe it's already February,when did that happen ?
One reason why I hated January is because throughout entire month the malls were still decorated like it was December and they were playing christmas music, are you kidding me ? Just move on already.
Depression is something that happened to me a lot when I was in high school but I really haven't felt depressed in really long time and that is awesome.
Few years ago I was always feeling sad.
Bullying,a lot of homework,health issues...
That is all behind me and it's finally time for me to be happy 24/7.
Whether you're going through a sad situation (a loss, a break-up, etc.) or you're just having bad day,I will show you some tips how I become happpy.
Of course different things make someone happy but I hope I will help you with my tips and tricks.

If you have any other tips or tricks you use when you're feeling sad, I'd love to hear them in the comments section below!

I know it's 21st century but I love writing letters, for some reason it is so fun.
My grandma lives in countryside and I don't see her too often,I talk with her on the phone but I love sending her letters because she loves it.
Writing what happened to me throughout the week makes her happy.

Smiling at yourself in the mirror can be a great little pick-me-up, even when you don't at all feel like smiling. (In fact, science shows that smiling can make you feel happy!) You'll probably feel silly when you first try it, but that's part of the fun. Usually you'll feel so silly that you'll start laughing at yourself, which is a great mood booster.

While I'm not a big nap-taker personally, I know there's a lot of science that says a well-timed nap can make you feel a lot better (particularly if you're sleep-deprived, something that can happen when your feeling sad or stressed). Even if you don't love naps, give yourself time to rest and relax. Sadness --  even just a little dip in your mood -- can be exhausting, and you deserve a nice little rest. When you're sad, give yourself permission to take time for rest.

One thing you can try when you're feeling bad is give yourself a little treat. Go grab a favorite scoop of ice cream, order a pizza, schedule a spa day, buy yourself a new book -- whatever it is you love, treat yourself to it! Of course, sadness can't be bought (or eaten...) away, but I've found that it's really nice to have a little treat when I'm feeling sad.

When I'm sad I'm usually wearing my sweatpants but I noticed one thing.
One day I decided to open my closet and try random outfits and that was really fun for me and I still do that....it's fun.

Drinking tea has a ton of health benefits, which makes it a great go-to when you're feeling sad. Not only is it healthy, but I've found that the warmth of it can be really soothing.
I mean when you drink apple & cinnamon tea it will make you happy instantly.

This tip is nothing special because everyone does it.
Music makes me happy,I start to dance and sing and that is so awesome.
At the moment I am obsessed with Zayn's Pillow Talk and Sia's Move your body.

Another great scent-related mood booster comes from lighting a candle. Not only is it pretty  but if you pick a scent you love, it'll perk you up a little bit. I personally love anything that is sickeningly sweet (think: fresh baked cake, frosted sugar cookies, etc.), but there's a candle out there for every single scent preference. Try making your dinner a candlelit one or taking a bubble bath surrounded by scented candles.

I love creating things, and it's one of the quickest ways for me to boost my mood. Not only does it feel good to make something that no longer existed before, it's also a great way to get out of your mind (and rumination on sad thoughts) and direct your focus to what you're working on. While it's never a good idea to ignore your feelings, sometimes it's good to take a break from them and create something with your hands.
You just have to try to make custom phone case, trust me it's fun.

Looking at old photos makes me really happy,I remember the days when I was a little kid and I love to remember moments I spent with my family members,it's really sad that I don't have any physical copies of the new photos.
Most of my new photos are on my computer and my cellphone.

I really hope you liked my tips, try them out, trust me you will feel so much better.
If I was able to help you that would mean a lot to me.
Until next time,goodbye
